What We Do

Structural Glazing Systems

Structural Glazing can be simply defined as a continuous system of bonding of specialized glass to an aluminum frame using specialized silicone sealants. While technically any type of glass can be used in structural glazing, the types are carefully selected considering many factors that range from energy conservation to subsequent interior decorations. The aluminum frames utilized have to obviously be of high-strength nature. The silicone sealants used are supposed to be high-performance sealants that can protect the building from air, dust, moisture, and heat.

The three types of Structural glazing we offer are

  • Stick Glazing
  • Semi Unitized Glazing
  • Curtain Wall Glazing

Stick Glazing Systems

Stick-type curtain wall glazing system is a type of Structural Glazing where the frame verticals or the mullions and the glass panels are erected and connected piece by piece. It is one of the oldest curtain wall types.

The vertical mullions are attached first to the floor slabs and then the horizontal mullions are attached to the vertical ones. The glass panel between the vertical and the horizontal mullions along with the spandrel which can be either glass or aluminum are then installed into the erected grid work.

The visual effect of stick framing is often taken into account since there will be more vertical mullions taking the wind load than other glazing systems.

Semi Unitized Glazing Systems

Semi unitized curtain wall consists of a Aluminum transom & Mullion main frame supported on to the wall, a sub frame duly glazed is fixed over the Main frame work with a fixing cleat.

A semi-unitized curtain wall glazing system is a type of structural glazing where the primary structural framing components are erected individually as an erector set. In this set, the vertical mullions are attached first to the floor slabs and the horizontals are attached to the vertical mullions to resemble a grid. The glass panel and the spandrel, which can be either glass or aluminum are shop glazed and installed into the assembled grid work.

The joineries and perimeter sealants are fields installed. The semi unitized systems largely anchored to the face of the slab as embedded plates or insert

Unitized Glass Curtain Wall Glazing Systems

Glass curtain walls are lightweight aluminum-framed facades housing glass or metal panels. These glazing systems don’t support the weight of a roof or floor. Instead, gravity loads and wind resistance transfer from the surface to the building’s floor line. Curtain walls are often part of a building envelope or comprises one part of a wall system.

Each glazing system requires careful integration with other adjacent structural elements such as wall claddings, roofs, and wall details. Curtain wall systems range from standard prefabricated systems to specialized custom wall units. Increased costs often come with additional customization and larger sizing.

Curtain Wall Glazing Systems

The following are brief descriptions of commonly used curtain wall farming methods and components. Curtain walls can be classified by their method of fabrication and installation into the following general categories: stick systems and unitized (also known as modular) systems.

In the stick system, the curtain wall frame (mullions) and glass or opaque panels are installed and connected together piece by piece. In the unitized system, the curtain wall is composed of large units that are assembled and glazed in the factory, shipped to the site and erected on the building. Vertical and horizontal mullions of the modules mate together with the adjoining modules.

Modules are generally constructed one story tall and one module wide but may incorporate multiple modules. Typical units are five to six feet wide.

MS Steel Structure Canopy

The glass canopy support structure adopts H-type steel structure. On-site construction requires steel structure installation and construction. After the installation of the steel
structure is completed, the installation of the point glass system and the external
aluminum plate can be carried out.

  • Support steel structure installation
  • The layout situation of awning steel structure is that H-type steel as the horizontal direction support structure, and the section steel is connected with the main steel structure through the embedded part.
  • The more detailed construction plan should be prepared for the installation of steel structures. Temporary support and stable measures must be calculated and detailed drawings should be drawn. The installation procedures must ensure structural stability and do not cause permanent deformation.
  • All type of MS Structure works are doing.

We have the in house capability to design new dies for extrusions. Our design engineers hold design qualifications and a minimum 8 years experience in the façade industry. They are provided with training in the construction design and are fully aware of their design responsibilities and roles.

Glass Canopy

A Glass canopy provides an attractive and practical feature to a building. Usually placed outside entrance doors a canopy protects people entering the building keeps the weather away from the doors and allows natural light through to the entrance area, the feature can carry through providing a sight line passed and entrance into a lobby area. Clear glass is a popular choice but other glass options are not excluded entrance canopies are overhead glazing by definition and the selection of an impact resistant durable product is essential.
